Louder Together 2026

Where young performers and teaching artists unite

Louder Together combines 2 international events that reinforce each other and create a unique 'conference festival'. From 21 to 30 August 2026, the Belgian city of Antwerp will invite children, young people and teaching artists from all over the world to a 10-day crossover between a theater festival and a scientific conference.

From August 21 to 30, the AITA/IATA World Children's and Youth Performing Arts Festival will offer a unique international stage for young performing arts talent. We give children and young people a voice and a safe place where they can build self-confidence and showcase their creativity.

During the last 3 days, from 28 to 30 August, we will organize the 8th edition of the International Teaching Artist Conference (ITAC8). Teaching artists create connections between art, education and communities. By using an emancipatory and activating artistic approach, they succeed in cultivating individual and social imagination. We welcome a local and international audience of professionals who want to inspire each other in creating imaginative, inclusive, and resilient communities.

We are working hard on an extensive and inspiring programme. Find it here from February onwards.

  • LOUDER

We want to give children and young people a voice. Let's hear yours!

Our aim is to demonstrate that arts programs are safe and brave spaces where young people can build confidence in their artistic abilities and feel empowered to express themselves creatively. Every child and young person should have access to the transformative power of the arts, helping to shape a more creative, empathetic, and culturally aware society.

  • TOGETHER

    Teaching artists as Connectors.

In a rapidly shifting world, teaching artists act as connectors between people, ideas, and disciplines. They don't just share their practice: they ignite imagination, bridge differences, and provide safe spaces for new ways of thinking and creating. At ITAC8, we explore how teaching artists shape more imaginative, inclusive, and resilient communities.
